After our Alaska adventure our ship docked in Vancouver British Columbia. This was only our third time in Canada having previously visited Toronto and Ottawa. We spent four days wandering around Vancouver and one day visiting Vancouver Island. On Vancouver Island we visited Butchart Gardens and the city of Victoria. Here are some of our pictures.
First from Vancouver City:
While exploring Vancouver Patti ran into a Royal Canadian Mounted Moose. I think his rank was “Mooster Sergeant.”
These pictures show the Olympic Torch, sculptures along the shore line and flowers from Lord Stanley garden named after the same man who created the “Stanley Cup.”
The Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island were unbelievable. These pictures don’t even scratch the surface of the many beautiful gardens within the gardens.

Vancouver Island is one of the many islands off the western coast of Canada, Alaska and Washington State there is an extensive ferry system linking the islands. Here are two pictures, one of a water way and one of another ferry passing our ferry.
