We traveled to Brownsville Vermont and stayed a facility at the foot of Mt. Ascutney.  We were joined by friends who had never been to Vermont.  While there we skied one day at Okeemo, then visited other points of interest in Vermont including Weston Priory, the Weston Country Store and Simon Pearce Glass Works.  Here are two picture from Weston Priory.

 

When we arrived the ground around the hotel was almost bare as seen in the picture on the left.  However, on Thursday we had a snow storm and the scene outside the hotel can be viewed in the picture on the right.

On the left is a view of Queeche gorge and on the right a covered bridge.  What would a visit to Vermont be without a covered bridge.

As I mentioned we visited the Simon Pearce Glass factory.  Here are pictures of two men working on creating works of art from glass.
